Scope
Design the 2025 Nursing Annual Report for UCLA Health. This report is a high-visibility publication used to communicate nursing impact, research, and institutional priorities to a broad audience. The project involved translating a large volume of clinical and academic content into a clear, structured report that is easy to navigate and visually consistent. I was responsible for the full visual design, working in close collaboration with copywriters to align layout and hierarchy with the narrative.

Process
I began by reviewing the content and defining a system to organize it across sections. This included establishing hierarchy, grid structure, and typographic rules to support different content types. The design was developed in alignment with UCLA Health’s brand guidelines, ensuring consistency in typography, color, and overall tone. Layouts were built to balance long-form text with data, imagery, and highlights—focusing on readability and flow across the document. I iterated on the design through ongoing collaboration with stakeholders, refining structure and visual clarity as content evolved.
